Stay Healthy, Vegetables From Garden

 

Hello, my little Friends,

Summer is the best season for our health since the choice of vegetables and fruits is the largest one. So many vitamins in one plate. Who would know that cucumber is one of the oldest cultivated crop, originated mainly in northern India. Cucumbers are excellent source of vitamins K, C and different B vitamins. They are also very good source of sodium, copper, amino acids, carbohydrates, soluble and insoluble fiber content. It is no wonder that your skin will look great after smashing yourself with a piece of cucumber.

The word “radish” comes from the Latin “radix,” meaning “root,” and the Greek word “raphanus,” which translates to “quickly appearing”. Well, I did recognize it, radishes were the first in my garden! Radishes contain significant amounts of vitamin C and several other vitamins and minerals. I love radishes, they are my favorite red buddies!

Mister Onion is the main at my plate. Onions have been used as food for thousands of years; in ancient Egypt, they were worshiped and used in burial rituals. Onion helps killing microbes in your body, a good disinfector as well, not to mention that it contains a lot of vitamins and minerals! Onions kisses…muuah!
